What the THOOF is that?

THOOF! Yes, it's THOOF! What the heck is THOOF?

THOOF is a user generated news and information service that learns about what you are interested in and delivers personalized news. From what I see, THOOF is the new kid on the blog in this area.

Well, I was wondering how these people at THOOF thought of the name THOOF! In my opinion, T-H-O-O-F stands The-Hunky-Operator-Opposite-Frank! Well, I'm not sure that's correct. None of the team member in THOOF is Frank nor any of the them is hunky. My guess. One other possibility of how these people at THOOF came out with the name is that someone from the team actually lost one of his/her front tooth and then he/she said, "I've just lost my THOOOFFFF." The founder heard it and immediate feels that this should be the name for it!

The name aside, the good feature on Thoof there’s no burries link like in Digg. It’s only hide link if you don’t want to see the post again and send to a friend link if you want to share with your friends. If your post is really interested, it will display on the first page of Thoof and it’s mean your post is interested most of the people.
