Once, this song make tears flow down my cheek. Why? Don't ask la. Old matter liao lor.

It's nice to hear Guang Liang sing this song. I like it. Share with you all.

Would you...

I have something in mind and would like to hear some opinion.

"You did something wrong and later you sincerely admitted that you were wrong. You told the truth and asked for understanding. You wanted a chance to make things right but you were denied the chance because you were told to do the something that you were determine not to do again in order to make things right. Furthermore you are condemned with a sentence that goes like,

'I don't care what you want to do. You are just as good as your words.'

You felt hurt. You thought that you deserved it but you also thought that you shouldn't be condemn in that way."

Do you think you deserve to be condemn? Do you feel you deserved just a chance of explanation and a period of time to make things right? What would you do after hearing that sentence?

Ermmm...I know this is a bit abstract and confusing but you guys can just make your own assumption to answer the questions.

Thanks

Web design...

Posted by mINg | 2:01 AM | , | 0 comments »

Every now and then I like to go to CSS design sites where I can browse through numerous websites designed with purely CSS without tables. One of the top site I would recommend any of you who is website designer to look for sources of inspiration is stylegala.com .

This website links to lots of css designed website and those very cool website design with Flash. Besides, there are write ups by the authors and css references. I especially love the articles there because they always write things that deals with the problems faced by web designers when design website presentations.

Well, some of you might be wondering what the heck is a financial advisor (that's me) thinking when he is surfing these sites. Is he going to use it to do financial planning with CSS? Hell no! I was an IT graduate. I used to love designing websites (although not much of them are excellent). My first love about computer was NOT computer games but websites. Nevertheless, I never really excel in IT because first of all I didn't put lots of effort in doing well in my 3 years of university education. Instead, during the years I was a bit lazy and bothered by relationship problems. Yeah, I shouldn't blame on the relationship thingy because I should had handled those properly myself.

Back to the main topic.

Just now I found the best personal portfolio website that I've ever seen so far. This guy named Dave did a superb job promoting himself through his own portfolio website by showcasing his works and ideas. His site is in Flash. What I like most about his website is that he did most of his presentation through short clips which he himself speaks instead of the usual words and lots of fancy animation. It's easy for the visitors because we don't have to read so much and figuring out how to navigate his flash site. Click here if you want to experience what I meant.

Well, everything on earth goes up to the web. From books to music, comics to movies, ideas to end products, shoes to dress and sports BRA. Yes, sports bra. Haha...yes, you've guessed it. I found a website which you can actually see how your breasts size and how they moves before choosing to buy your very own sports bra for your exercise. Check this out.

That's all for today. Have a great Thursday my friends. Cheers.

8 days ago, I got to know a girl whom last time rejected me for being a friend because she didn't know me. Lets call her V. Well, I guess it was fate that brought us back as friends and renewed the chance to know each other better. I was delighted because I'm always happy to know new friends, guys and girls, whom I can click with. Meaningful and great conversations always attracted me to chat or talk with all the new friends I met in Internet.

Over the years, I've met lots of new friends over the Internet. Many have become good friends of mine. As for V, I'm just as DELIGHTED to be her new 'found' friend. Everything started with a simple short message:

"i forget how i know u liao le..."

After some message exchanges, I felt quite HAPPY with the topics we discussed. We discussed about love, relationship and emotions because she read about my ex and I. She asked whether I'm OK now and she mentioned that often she's hurt in relationship. Although hurt quite many times in relationship, she is someone who never give up trying to look for the right guy who loves her and she can love him back in return. I thought it's a simple thought in our complicated world where love and relationship are portrait so differently from the beautiful love describe in the Shakespears and Bible.

But I had a SURPRISE from her today. We were messaging over the net and suddenly in her second last message she said she's not in good mood to talk. Well, I thought I should just leave her alone for a while and let her cool down for whatever reason it was that spoiled her mood. *sigh* She sent her last message saying:

"be frank 2 u...
i got a special kind of xxxx for u...
anyway just forget my hp nos... and dun reply..."

I was dumbfounded and replied:

"xxxx?
ok...haven't save anyway.
Bye."

To be frank, I really don't know what to reply but just to do what she had wished although I replied.

What's next? I have no idea, really. Would I be SAD? Hmm...I would say I'm more of disappointed than sad because it ended this way. Maybe you would feel that I think too much but the fact that she deleted me from her friendster showed that she doesn't want to contact me anymore.

Would there be another time where we get another chance to be friends again? I don't know. Let fate decide because we start talking again because of fate.

Bye bye V. Till next time. Cheers.

The Realistic Romantic

Flexible and positive in your outlook, you tend to take things in your stride and are unfazed by sudden changes of direction. Where others see problems, you see opportunities. Where others see danger, you see adventure. Your cheerful disposition compels you to make the best of every situation. In your view, life's a buffet - so why stick to one dish? But while you savour surprises and relish variety, you are neither a outlandish trendsetter nor a slavish follower of fashion. You know what you like - and quite often that's the tried and true rather than the hot and hip. During your leisure time, you usually choose to relax and be entertained rather than challenged. Your strong practical streak makes you selective in your embrace of new technology and you harbour a healthy suspicion of gimmickry. While you are definitely not into filling up your life with gadgets, you welcome products that will make your life easier or eliminate unpleasant chores. Authentic experience - be it with or without a hand-held electronic device - is what turns you on!

This is really funny. Watch it.

It has been a year since...

Posted by mINg | 2:23 PM | 2 comments »

Wow..it has been a year since I started writing blog in blogger.com. Why did I start writing? Actually if those who read my past entry would know I started because I wanted to write about my feelings toward my 2nd relationship.

A year plus has passed and everything related to the relationship is gone together with time for good but still pieces of it remain here. Nevermind. It's not important anymore because the parties (me and Na) involved had moved on. End of story.

I never regret starting this blog because I got to know quite a few good friends because of this blog. I'm glad that we became friends and now we are good friends as far as I'm concern. They are just fantastic! If you are reading this, you know who you are. =) Cheers!

Am considering to switch to blogsome.com because they use wordpress which is much easy to workaround than blogger. There alot more options and plugins to be used. What do you think?

Met up with Sam

Posted by mINg | 2:52 AM | 0 comments »

Just came back from a short met up with Sam, my good friend and bro that I knew not so long ago last year. He drank his usual Stouts and I had Heineken complimentary of my new friends I just got to know when I was waiting for Sam at the food court, Mr. Wong and Mr. Jeremy Hong(who claimed to be someone who used to be in the entertainment industry). But I'm not really sure whether he is who he claimed to be. He also told me that he was the one who gave Eason Chan the chance to enter the singing competition which was the stepping stones to his singing career.

After the new friends left, me and Sam chatted for a while about some of the things in Singapore which are different from Malaysia. Yes, of course, some of you might have guess it. We talked about cars. The prices of the cars in Singapore and how does the COE systems works in the cars' pricing in Singapore.

It's a very tiring day but I'm really happy to meet Sam tonight. I promised him to bring him out tomorrow night.

That's all for now. Darn tired.

Recruitment @ Career Fair

Posted by mINg | 2:23 AM | 0 comments »

From 2nd to 5th March, I'll be at Suntec City Convention Centre 6th floor doing recruitment for my boss at the Career Fair. This Career Fair is jointly organized by Singapore Tourism Board. But to be fair, i don't think this is a career fair. It looks like a education cum career fair. Why? Because more than 55% of the exhibitor are universities, colleges and higher learning institutions.

This is the first time I'm doing recruitment at a career fair. It was tough this first day. But after some coaching and sit in with my boss when he was presenting, I learned quite abit and I found out my weaknesses, which is good. Another self-discovery. I'm going to talk to more people and don't want to waste my boss money because it costs $600 for me to be there for 4 days doing the recruitment for my boss. I wasted 1 day already. $150 gone! Gosh, so expensive!

Anyway, if anyone of you were interested in getting some information on course available for you to study or looking for a career change. Do come here to take a look and come look for me. I can help you do a career profiling to see what kind of jobs are more suitable for you.

Cheers.

What kind of Seducer Are You?

Posted by mINg | 12:15 AM | 2 comments »

Your Seduction Style: Fantasy Lover

You know that ideal love that each of us dreams of from childhood? That's you!
Not because you posess all of the ideal characteristics, but because you are a savvy shape shifter.
You have the uncanny ability to detect someone's particular fantasy... and make it you.

You inspire each person to be an idealist and passionate, and you make each moment memorable
Even a simple coffee date with you can be the most romantic moment of someone's life
By giving your date exactly what he or she desires, you quickly become the ideal lover.

Your abilities to make dreams come true is so strong, that you are often the love of many people's lives.
Your ex's (and even people you have simply met or been friends with) long to be yours.
No doubt you are the one others have dreamed of... your biggest challenge is finding *your* dream lover.

Feeling abit boh liao. So I did this test. Hmmm...

I lost it...sorry

Posted by mINg | 1:02 AM | 3 comments »

Last week my sister Jane sms-ed me. We exchanged a few msg and then I revealed to her about something that I kept secret for a few months already. It must have sadden her although she said it's ok. I called back home today and had my usual weekly chat with mum. My asked me why I only told her after so long and told me sister was sad.

I lost her DIGICAM!

First of all, I know she would be sad. Secondly, I don't like to be nag. I know for sure if I told her earlier, the news would break out to mum and when I go back home for Chinese New Year earlier this month she would nag at me. Just now mum did nag at me for that. -_-"

My sister is going to graduate from the matriculation course(pre-U) in April. She needs the digicam to take photos during the graduation ceremony. I promised her to get her one before her graduation. I'm trying my best to work hard this month get a replacement for her.

Speaking of digicam, which model is good now? Not those top range but those take good pictures and with a reasonable price tag. My budget would be around S$600-$700. Give me some idea please.

Lastly, I want to apologize to my sister again. SORRY JANE.

2006 Wish List

Posted by mINg | 4:47 AM | 5 comments »

*edited*
2006 marks half a decade of my life in the 20s. All these years I never really sit down and think about my wish for a year. Well, here is the my wish list for the first time of my life.

1. Achieve my target in work.
Well, I missed my own achievement target in 2006. I'm not going to miss it this year. I'll work my ass off just for the sake of my pocket and future plans.

2. PSP (white colour)

Isn't this piece of gadget beautiful? Anyway, I'm not a regular game player. All my life, I never own a game console even though I begged my dad to buy Nintendo when I was a kiddo. I like this because of its multi-functions features and the US version is hackable to make this little baby to run other software. Powerful rite?

Hope to get it by mid-year as my birthday gift. =)

3. Digicam (Canon IXUS 750)

This is gonna be my first digicam bought by m|Ng. Hurray!! Should be able to get this before year end.

4. Sport shoe (Nike, Adidas or Puma)
Will get this end of next month after paying all my commitments. Has been wearing my red Umbro RM39.90 shoe for almost half a year. It starts to rot. That's why 'yi fen qian yi fen huo'.

5. LV Multiple(Damien Canvas)
6. Nokia N80 handphone (to be out soon)
7. Portable hardisk (100Gb or more)
8. Speakers for computer
9. Specs (2 pairs)
10.New laptop by year end, will give my recently bought Dell to my sister so that she'll have a laptop to use when shen enters University around June(I guess). Boh bian la. No money to buy a new one.

Hmm...that's all I can think of now. Will add in more soon. Hehe...Cheers.

My weakness?

Posted by mINg | 1:30 AM | 3 comments »

This is interesting. What do you think of my weakness? (for those people who know me). Click the link below.

Found the weakness test thingy while I was browsing through Serene's blog which was moved to LiveJournal. Serene was my 1st year blockmate in the old Sheares Hall in NUS. She's a lovely girl who is now a dentist. Last time, we chatted on ICQ and sometimes she asked my opinion about relationship thingy but nowadays I never use ICQ anymore. I guess she must be busy with her work as a dentist also. Anyway, left a comment on her blog. Hope to keep in touch with her.

V-alone-tines Day part 3

Posted by mINg | 11:23 PM | 1 comments »

Here come the last part of this series of entries.

My last relationship started after my final year exam at National University of Singapore. Sounds familiar? Yeah, it's just about the same like my 2nd relationship. But this time I wasn't waiting for my result but my graduation in July. The result was out a month after my last paper on 20th April 2004.

We started our relationship almost end of May 2004 but ended early in October. It lasted only 4 months plus. But I can say the 4 months when we were together, it was the sweetest and most memorable 4 months I had in a boy girl relationship. She was the sweetest looking girlfriend of the 3 ex-gf I had.

However, we didn't end well. In my opinion, it was kind of a mess. We broke up over the phone. She asked for it because a whole list of reasons. No need mention what they were. It's not important anymore. It's doesn't matter who was right or wrong.

Well thinking back, I started to write blog because of the period when I was most depressed because of the ended relationship. There are quite a number of entries written in Chinese in the archive. I never went back to read them because as far as I'm concerned it's case closed. In my heart and memory, it's packed and sealed properly. Don't intend to open it up again.

So, I never celebrate Valentine's Day yet again. How is it like? Does the girls feel in cloud nine for all the things the guys do for her in this day? Or it is better to have everyday like Valentine's Day just like it is in the lyrics of Fish Leong's song "Fen Shou Kuai Le"?

Tell me.

V-alone-tines Day part 2

Posted by mINg | 5:57 AM | 1 comments »

After form 2, I never had a relationship until I finished form 6. It was during the period when I was waiting for my STPM results. I started my 2nd relationship. For privacy purpose, let us call her Candy. As far as I can remember, it was in May 2000 we started. Good memory you may say. Yeah, I admit I it. Well, after a month plus in July, I went to Singapore to study in National University of Singapore. Not long after that she got an offer to study law in Manchester University and went over to UK in September.

The relationship lasted for another year plus. We only got to meet each other during the end of semester break which was during the month of December and June-July. We couldn't celebrate our first Valentine Day. I thought we had a chance to celebrate our second when she told me that she was coming back for holiday during February for Chinese New Year. But it was the end of the road for us when she came back and asked for break up exactly 1 week before Valentines Day.

Yet again, NO Valentine celebration for me! -_-"

V-alone-tines Day part 1

V-alone-tines Day part 1

Posted by mINg | 4:05 AM | 0 comments »

It's the time of the year where many couples who are still in good terms would celebrate this day call Valentines Day. It's the time to declare or re-affirm or consolidate your love for each other. It's time to buy gifts; flowers, chocolates or perhaps diamonds for the rich. It's time to have candle light dinner at a posh restaurant. To cut things short, it's time to show YOUR LOVE.

What the fuss of this special day? As for me, this is a normal day just. Why? Because yet again at this time of the year, I don't have a girlfriend nor a girl whom I'm trying to get. I have to admit and say that I have never celebrate Valentines Day before in my whole LIFE.

One girl friend asked, "How come? I thought you had girlfriends before, don't you?".

Another also asked, "Come on Tommy. Don't lie to me lah. I don't believe you. I think it's because you have too many girlfriends to choose to celebrate Valentines Day."

Sigh...why you guys dont' believe?

Maybe it's somewhat coincident that I haven't got a chance to celebrate it with someone special because that really special one haven't come yet.(Am I self comforting?) Yes, I did have 3 relationships before. But none of them I had any chance to even plan for it.

The first relationship that I had was a puppy love way back 1994 when I was studying in Jasin Melaka for 3 years. I was form 1 then. It was a really sweet memory recalling it. We liked each other alot and we only had chance to meet at school albeit one trip to Melaka town. Besides that, we only talked over the phone. If I didn't mistaken, I only hold her hand for 2 times. Nevertheless, it was really a fast-heart-beating experience. Well, we had our first valentines day in form 2 and she gaved me a BIG valentines day card, bigger than A4 size while I also gave her a card at the end of school. Does that count as 'celebrated Valentines Day'? I don't think so. I moved back to Sitiawan at the end of form 2 and the puppy just ended like that after some time because we seldom contact each other anymore. Therefore, 1st relationship, NO VALENTINES DAY CELEBRATION for me.

to be continue...

Home Sweet Home

Posted by mINg | 3:38 PM | 8 comments »

I'm back home. Yes. I'm back in Sitiawan. What a nice feeling to be with family members; dad, mum, and sisters. I could see the smile on their face when they were at home waiting for me to come back.

Well, we spring cleaned our home. It was very tiring because my home was quite dirty because there was lots of dust. Since mum had the operation to remove the cancer cells in her right breast, she couldn't clean the house as frequently as she used to do so as she doesn't have the kind of energy to clean the house everyday.

Hurray! Chinese New Year is just around the corner. I'm so happy that I can have a week plus to rest and recharge my biological-battery before going back to work in Singapore. I want this one week to be a fruitful one. I want to change many things about myself and back to Singapore as a changed person. I'm sure I can. Hehe...YES!

Had a long talk with mum during our trip to Ipoh last evening. I realized mum really changed alot physically, mentally and most importantly, spiritually. She look much older. Her thinking is much different. Her priorities are different. She said to me that she's already ahead of me spiritually which in the past I was the one who encourage her to become a Christian and spread the gospel to her. She's the one who is encouraging me and correct me whenever I start to go astray. Thank you mum.

Happy Chinese New Year to all my FRIENDS! Have a great reunion with your family and a prosperous year ahead. Cheers.

I have to admit that I'm not tall. Never do I admit that I'm tall. I always say that I'm short. Well, today a beautiful china mother said something which goes like this when I call her beautiful mum >> "Well, I won't marry my daughter to you because you are tall not tall enough..." After that I was like this >> -_-"

Can't sleep...

It's almost 7am already. Sunday morning. As usual, I can't really get myself to sleep on weekend night. Sigh. I thought weekends should be the time when most people can just sleep rest well after a week of hard work.

Last night, 13 of us when to Holland Village to celebrate Xinyi a.k.a SUPERSTARS's birthday which was on 13th of January. It was a OK dinner at TCC cafe. Xinyi looked very happy with so many people coming for her birthday dinner organized by her boyfriend, Tee Yong.

Prudential was 1st overall in 2005 in terms of new business in the industry!

2005 marks a new era under the guidance of Mr. Kevin Wright as our newly appointed CEO. It's a remarkable achievement in his first year in office. Well, what does this means to me in a year where I didn't do well? After some thinking, this achievement by our company established a very good opportunity to build on the success in 2005 for me to work harder this year. Ganbate TOMMY CHIENG!!!! I BELIEVE I CAN ACHIEVE WHATEVER I SET OUT TO DO THIS YEAR!

Ok la, I think I need a half an hour nap before going to church later. Below are the 2 pictures I took with my mobile last Wednesday outside of Suntec City during one of the breaks we had. Tell me what you think about the pictures, k?

Important note: Pictures can be deceiving. Haha...=D
